Hanged for the murder of his wife, he attacked her with brutal ferocity, then dressed her in clean linen, and went to inform her relatives that she was ill.The murder took place on 31st October the previous year, in the farm cottage where he worked. The woman’s cries were ignored by neighbours as it was a normal state of affairs for them
